COURSE SYLLABUS
The course structure is divided into 8 different modules in which the pillars of the MBP Youth Football Methodology are discussed in depth.
Each of these modules will present and describe the key points of how to train in the formative stages in an optimal way. Students will be able to interact constantly through tasks and different activities, which will help to put into practice all the learned content.
At the end of each module, small challenges will be set for the intention of sharing and debating with the other students in the MBP community.
We will learn the existing training perspectives in football at the formative stages, and we will learn to choose the most suitable one for each moment.
We will dive deeper in the different didactic training strategies that comprise the MBP methodology, highlighting the key ideas to respect, while learning to build them autonomously.
We will learn about the activation phase of a session and how to create appropriate training tasks according to the complementary objective.
We will learn about the main phase of a session and how to create appropriate training tasks according to the principal objective.
We will learn to recognize and manage the elements that condition the contextual quality of a didactic strategy, to involve the player in optimal learning situations.
We will learn how to transform the didactic strategies proposed by the coach onto the field, seeking to maximize the learning of the players during the session.
We will learn to recognize the different teaching styles that the coach can use and how to choose the most appropriate one depending on the objective of the training.
We will learn to recognize the most important aspects of the coach’s communication during a training session or match, and to evaluate the aspects that can be improved.
